I’m an NCTJ-qualified journalist with over a decade of experience editing, writing and commissioning in digital and print media, advertising, art and photography. I am now working as a content strategist, editor and writer in the arts and creative industries.
Previous roles include Senior Digital Editor at Magnum Photos (2016-2019) on the B2C magazine site that would position the agency as a digital consumer publisher. I have also worked as acting editor for NOWNESS, I was digital content editor for Serpentine Galleries, and a content strategist and editor at M&C Saatchi.
I write about visual culture. My editorial work has been published by: AnOther Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Vanity Fair, Sleek, Elephant, L'Oeil de Photographie, Wonderland, Protein, The Spaces, Phaidon, Flaunt, and Interview Magazine, amongst others.
My writing on archives has been cited in a number of articles, academic papers and books. This includes those published by The Sorbonne and Criterion, and in the show notes of You Must Remember This. Books citing my work include: ‘Time in Fashion, Industrial, Antilinear and Uchronic Temporalities’ (Bloomsbury), and ‘The DIY Movement in Art, Music and Publishing: Subjugated Knowledges’ (Routledge).
I have also provided commercial copywriting/editing, or content strategy work for a number of fashion and lifestyle brands.
