Laura Havlin is a London-based content and editorial strategist, editor and writer working in the creative industries, specialising in new digital editorial launches.
She has previously worked on editorial content at digital publishers, cultural institutions and brands. This includes the role of senior digital editor on Magnum Photos' digital magazine, establishing the legendary photo agency as a B2C publisher, acting editor for NOWNESS, digital content editor for Serpentine Galleries, and content strategist and editor at M&C Saatchi.
Laura writes about visual culture. Her editorial work has been published by: AnOther Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Vanity Fair, Sleek, Elephant, L'Oeil de Photographie, Wonderland, Protein, The Spaces, Phaidon, Flaunt, and Interview Magazine, amongst others.
Her writing has been cited in a number of articles, academic papers and books. This includes papers published by The Sorbonne and Criterion. In the commercial space, she has also provided copywriting/editing, or content strategy work for a number of fashion and lifestyle brands, and previously held the role of head of content and editorial for the challenger jewellery brand Vashi, developing digital and content strategies for a future rebrand.
