I am a London-based editor, editorial and digital content strategist, and NCTJ-qualified journalist working in the creative industries. I have worked on several start-ups, website and platform launches in this space. Most recently, I worked with D&AD, where I am now Head of Content, to reimagine the iconic Annual as a digital product for the first time.
I have previously worked on content at digital publishers, cultural institutions and brands. This includes: the role of senior digital editor on Magnum Photos' digital B2C magazine, from development through the first 3+ years of publishing; digital content editor for Serpentine Galleries; content strategist and editor at M&C Saatchi; and freelance roles, such as acting editor at NOWNESS.
I write about visual culture. My editorial work has been published by: AnOther Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Vanity Fair, Sleek, Elephant, L'Oeil de Photographie, Wonderland, Protein, The Spaces, Phaidon, Flaunt, and Interview Magazine, amongst others.
In addition to being published in the consumer arts, fashion and lifestyle magazines listed above, my writing has been cited in a number of articles, papers and books. This includes papers published by The Sorbonne and Criterion. Books citing my writing include: ‘Time in Fashion, Industrial, Antilinear and Uchronic Temporalities’ (Bloomsbury), and ‘The DIY Movement in Art, Music and Publishing: Subjugated Knowledges’ (Routledge).
In the commercial space, I have also provided copywriting/editing, or content strategy work for a number of fashion and lifestyle brands, and previously held the role of head of content and editorial for the challenger jewellery brand Vashi, developing digital and content strategies for a future rebrand.
